In 2008, the CVB awarded more than $53,374 (TIC and TAAG) to area nonprofit organizations to assist their tourism services, promotion and marketing efforts in Warren County.
2008 marked the 14th consecutive year the CVB has awarded Tourist Information Center (TIC) grants to area chambers of commerce, including the Springboro Chamber of Commerce and Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Tourism Advertising Assistance Grants (TAAG) were awarded to ten recipients, including:

For the second year in a row, the Bureau recognized county tourism leaders for their outstanding efforts and significant contributions in 2008.

2008 Partnership Award - The Golden Lamb
The Golden Lamb Inn and Restaurant was recognized for the extensive renovations and commitment to preserving the history and integrity of one of the County's important treasurers.
Underscoring the importance of preserving this iconic landmark, Stevens Hospitality, the operators of the restaurant and inn took great care in every step of this restoration process. While preservation was key -equal importance was placed on improving the Lamb's ability to service its customers.
2008 Partnership Award - The City of Lebanon
The City of Lebanon was recognized for the outstanding support the City has provided the Bureau's sales and sports programs. The city support of the Great Lakes Shriners Association parade helped insure the overall success of this event. The City of Lebanon Parks and Recreation department have been wonderful partners to our sports program as well, through use of the Lebanon Sports Complex which has been used for a variety of events.

This City of Mason Parks and Recreation department has been a wonderful partner in helping grow the sports department and ensuring the success of our sports programs. The City as a whole was honored for their commitment, assistance and impact on the success of the sports marketing program and dedication to professional sports such as the Duramed Futures Tour, AVP and W&SFG Masters and Women's Open.
