Who: Community members are invited to participate

What: Teams and individuals invited to take part in Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties 5k Remembrance Walk/Run. Walk in honor or in memory of a loved one. Awards will be presented to the team/individual who raised the most money.

When: Saturday, September 9, 2017. Registration @ 8:30 am, Walk/Run @ 10 am. Come back after you walk to get a bite to eat from the food trucks on site!

Where: Smith Park, 500 Tytus Ave. Middletown, OH 45042

Why: Proceeds from the 5k Remembrance Walk/Run will enable the not-for-profit Ohio’s Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties to celebrate the lives of patients and families and provide superior care and superior services to all patients with life-limiting illnesses, regardless of ability to pay.

It is time once again for our annual dinner event and outdoor family night out. This fund raiser provides you the opportunity to play a vital role in wetlands conservation while having a great time. Your ticket purchase will include:

AppleFest Run 2017

The annual Applefest 10k/15k run and 5k run/walk will be held at Countryside YMCA on Sat. Sept. 30 in conjunction with the Lebanon Applefest. This run raises money for the YMCA Annual Fund, which provides funding for YMCA programs which serve residents of Warren County.

Pre-registration is $30 with a t-shirt. The 15K run starts at 8:30 am, and the 10K run and 5K run/walk start at 9:00 am. Awards presented for Top 3 males overall, Top 3 females overall.

All races start and end at Countryside YMCA, but the routes incorporate the bike trail as well. Routes can be viewed on the website.

Registration is $30.

Climb aboard the farm wagon for a family friendly Adventure Wagon Ride. Travel along the old stone roads of this historic farm... across an abandoned railway, past the old home site and into the valley of Todd Fork, where you will encounter colorful characters portrayed by professional actors.

The Farm Kitchen offers delicious farm dinners, apple dumplings, caramel apples and pumpkin pie, all "made from scratch" on the farm. Shop the Country Store for pumpkins, locally made jams, jelly, honey, fudge and kettle corn -- handmade candles, fall decorations and more.

Triathlon consists of 6 mile paddle in canoe or kayak, 5.8 miles run, and 18 mile bike ride. Included in your registration fee is the use of the canoe or kayak with the lifejackets and paddles, parking, the after party with a hot catered meal, live music and a race memento. This 38 year tradition is a fun and unique run with competitors "in it to win it" as well as those that just want to challenge themselves. We now offer a half tri which is great for first timers or those wanting to compete with a younger or older family member or friend.
