Soak City Waterpark

When you visit the all-new Soak City this summer you'll find many improvements that have been made to make your family's time at Kings Island even more memorable.

First you'll notice a new entrance that welcomes you to the 33-acre water park, with new walkways, fencing, trees and plenty of parking.

Once you enter you'll find features like the NEW bigger and better wave pool with a larger pool deck for catching rays and plenty of surrounding grass areas to lay your towel down.

The Lazy River has been transformed into a NEW Action River with highlights like an interactive area for spectators and river guests, a cascading rock wall waterfall, new turbulent water effects and of course plenty of ways to get wet including rain curtains, tipping buckets and spray hoses.

Finally you'll find more amenities to fit your needs during your visit. Amenities include NEW family changing rooms, more than 1,000 additional lounge chairs, interactive activites like sand volleyball and new cabanas, including a party cabana by the new wave pool.

Signature Thrill Rides

Windseeker--Windseeker is a 301-foot-tall tower that spins riders 30 stories above the park at speeds up to 30 mph.

Diamondback--Diamondback is the fiercest roller coaster in park history, standing a mind-boggling 230 feet tall, reaching gut-wrenching speeds of 80mph and weaving through 10 acres of terrain using nearly 1 mile of steel track before reaching a dramatic splash-down ending!

The Beast--the longest wooden roller coaster in the world at 7,400 feet; travels at speeds approaching 70 mph and has a ride length of nearly four minutes. It features two incredible vertical drops and has three dark tunnels, plus a spectacular 540 degree helix turn at the end.

Firehawk--experience the feeling of human flight on this innovative flying roller coaster that propels riders 115 feet in the air through five inversions at speeds of more than 50 mph!

Invertigo--the only face-to-face inverted roller coaster in the Midwest! Scream your face off as you are lifted up a 138 foot hill and then released to soar through a 72 foot tall loop and two inversions at speeds of over 55 mph!

Drop Tower--feel your heart drop when you plunge 26 stories from a height of 315 feet straight down at speeds of over 61 mph on the tallest Gyro Drop in the world!

Vortex--you'll be rocketed along 3,800 feet of track at speeds exceeding 55 mph through two vertical loops, one corkscrew, one boomerang turn, and a 360-degree helix, turning you head-over-heels six times!

Flight of Fear--face your darkest fears as you are catapulted from 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds through 4 inversions on the world's first linear induction launch coaster!

Planet Snoopy

Planet Snoopy, Kings Island's "Best Kids' Area in the World" section (Amusement Today Golden Ticket award 2001 through 2008) boasts an elaborate collection of PEANUTS-themed rides and attractions for every age, including more kids' roller coasters (four) than any other park in the world.

Planet Snoopy also features a live stage show and daily meet and greet opportunities with the PEANUTS characters such as Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Lucy and Linus.

Halloween Haunt & Howl-o-Fest

When fall arrives, Kings Island becomes a cauldron of Halloween fun during Halloween Haunt. With 13 horrifying attractions, nearly 400 vampires, haunted trails and spooky mazes, this is no average walk in the park.

Little ghouls and goblins love Halloween Haunt's own kid-friendly area, Howl-O-Fest, complete with storytelling, a haybale maze, pumpkin patches, dance parties, costume contests, trick-or-treat candy stops, plus a costumed parade!
