Diamondback is the fiercest ride in park history. The new rides stands a mind-boggling 230 feet tall, reaches gut-wrenching speeds of 80mph and weaves through 10 acres of terrain using nearly 1 mile of steel track before reaching a dramatic splash-down ending!

 

  

  

Signature Thrill Rides

The Beast--the longest wooden coaster in the world at 7,400 feet; travels at speeds approaching 70 mph and has a ride length of nearly four minutes. It features two incredible vertical drops and has three dark tunnels, plus a spectacular 540 degree helix turn at the end.

Son of Beast--the tallest, fastest wooden coaster on the planet will send you screaming down it's 214-foot hill at speeds over 78 mph!

Firehawk--experience human flight on this innovative flying roller coaster that propels riders 115 feet in the air through five inversions at speeds of more than 50 mph!

Invertigo--the only face-to-face inverted roller coaster in the Midwest! Scream your face off as you are lifted up a 138 foot hill and then released to soar through a 72 foot tall loop and two inversions at speeds of over 55 mph!

Drop Tower--feel your heart drop when you plunge 26 stories from a height of 315 feet straight down at speeds of over 61 mph on the tallest Gyro Drop in the world! 

Vortex--you'll be rocketed along 3,800 feet of track at speeds exceeding 55 mph through two vertical loops, one corkscrew, one boomerang turn, and a 360-degree helix, turning you head-over-heels six times!

Flight of Fear--face your darkest fears as you are catapulted from 0-60 mph in just 4 seconds through 4 inversions on the world's first linear induction launch coaster!

 

Nickelodeon Universe

Nickelodeon Universe, winner of "Best Kids Area in the World" for eight straight years, is a child's dream come true! This kid-centric area is filled with colorful rides and all the popular Nickelodeon animated television and cinema stars for children to meet in person.

• Fun for ages 6 & Under--Nickelodeon's most popular characters come to life including Avatar^TM, Blue's Clues^TM; Danny Phantom^TM, Dora the Explorer^TM, The Rugrats^TM; and SpongeBob SquarePants^TM.
• Fun for ages 7-12--Nickelodeon Universe more kids' coaster than any other park in the world. Rugrat's Runaway Reptar is the world's first inverted coaster for children, the Fairly Odd Coaster is a wooden roller coaster made especially for families (it's perfect for those who are anxious to try but a little too small for The Beast) and Little Bills Giggle Coaster is a mini steel coaster that is perfect for children and their parents, complete with two turns and fun filled dips

  

Boomerang Bay Water Resort

Cool off in our splashtacular 15-acre Australian-themed water park resort. Boomerang Bay offers more than 50 water activities including 30 water slides, tropical lagoons, rushing rivers, three family activity areas, careening waterfalls, and a 36,000 square foot wave pool.

  

Halloween Haunt (Weekends September 25 - November 1)

When fall arrives, Kings Island becomes a cauldron of Halloween fun during Halloween Haunt. With 13 horrifying attractions, nearly 400 vampires, haunted trails and spooky mazes, this is no average walk in the park.

Little ghouls and goblins love Halloween Haunt's own kid-friendly area, Howl-O-Fest, complete with storytelling, a haybale maze, pumpkin patches, dance parties, costume contests, trick-or-treat candy stops, plus a costumed parade!
