March 2007 – LEBANON, OH – The Sports Department of the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB), in conjunction with Gym-Nation Gymnastics & Cheer in Mason, were awarded the hosting rights to the USA Gymnastics Level 10 Junior Olympic National Championships, announced Shirley Bonekemper, WCCVB executive director.

Warren County CVB to Host First State Lacrosse Tourney

March 2007 – LEBANON, OH – US Lacrosse, the sport’s national governing body, is presenting the inaugural year of the US Lacrosse Cup. Fourteen states have been selected to host tournaments for boys and girls ages, ages 15 and under (U-15).

Nike Midwest Showdown Girls’ Basketball Tournament to be played in Warren County through 2009.

January 2007 – LEBANON, OH – Shirley Bonekemper, Executive Director of
the Warren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (WCCVB), has announced that the
Nike Midwest Showdown will be held in Warren County - Ohio’s Largest Playground®
in May 2007. The WCCVB will host this prestigious event for three years, through
2009. 2007 marks the fourth annual Nike Midwest Showdown, previously held in
Dublin, OH.

Warren County “Prime” for Major Sports Complex

program that was designed to attract new visitors to the county. The results have been

Warren County CVB Sports Marketing Program Continues to Grow Under Leadership of New Director

January 2006 – LEBANON, OH – The Warren County Convention & Visitors
Bureau’s Sports Marketing program continues to flourish under the leadership of the
new Sports Marketing Director, Ben Huffman. Sports marketing programs have grown
to be an integral portion of the Bureau’s marketing efforts, generating more than $7
million annually to the local economy. In his first two months with the Bureau,
Huffman has secured five new events for 2007 and 2008.
