Shopping Extravaganza

Day One

Morning: There’s an unusual buzz at Jungle Jim’s International Market. Could it be the constant chatter of women exclaiming over the unique and wide selection of food items from all over the world and the funky mechanical jungle animal displays. Who thought food shopping could be so much fun! Allow at least an hour to browse this 6-acre facility. Motorized carts and wheelchair carts are available on a first come basis.

Afternoon: Enjoy lunch, or a tea party, in charming Springboro or Waynesville, followed by an afternoon of glorious shopping at the too-many-to-mention antique and specialty shops in these historic towns. Waynesville is also known as “the antiques capital of the MidwestTM”

Evening: Wine lovers raise your glasses and gather around to sample some quality table and dessert wines at Valley Vineyards. Take a winery tour before testing your grilling skills at Valley Vineyards famous steak cook-out, available year round, where you will enjoy a great bottle of wine, along with a “grill your own” steak and several ‘sinful’ choices for dessert

Day Two

Morning: Kings Mills General Store & Christmas Shop – Wander from room to room and discover ornaments and decorations for every holiday season or occasion. The Kings Mills Christmas Shop & General Store is the exclusive dealer in Ohio and one of only 25 dealers in the United States for Patricia Breen Hand Made Glass ornaments.

Late Morning/Afternoon: Stroll through downtown Lebanon and plan your shopping strategy for how to fit in all the fabulous unique shops that await you. Lunch at the Golden Lamb and enjoy fine dining while surrounded by a large collection of Shaker antique furnishings.

Mid-Afternoon: Take a short drive north to Prime Outlets at Jeffersonville. Few places can boast a shopping destination filled with so many of America’s famous names at great prices! Prime Outlets is Ohio’s largest outlet center with more than 100 manufacturer outlet stores. Plus, the attractive architecture that originated from the barns and farmyards that dot the nearby landscape makes the center a fun sight to see in itself. The merchant mix is decidedly cosmopolitan and proves to be a pleasant surprise to shoppers.
