Listen to singing minstrels while valiant knights battle in medieval jousts all under the watchful eye of Queen Elizabeth I. Grab a front row seat, if you dare, at The Mudde Show and see a trio of gifted performers re-enact literary classics using mud as their stage and as their props. Don't forget about the classic giant turkey legs, which will take you back to 16th century dining-no utensils needed!

Sip hot apple cider and devour homemade apple pie as you stroll the streets of historic downtown Lebanon shopping for arts and crafts during Country Applefest. One of the unique things about Country Applefest is craft vendors are required to hand-make their items. So, festival goers will find wonderful handmade crafts such as pottery, wreaths, jewelry, baskets, and all kinds of wonderful decorations.

For more than 60 years, the fall antique show has offerd some of highest quality antiques in the Midwest. This year, Early American Life magazine is teaming up to sponser the show and produce an event featuring music, food, artists and seminars representative of this time period. Warren County native, David T. Smith, who has been featured in Country Living Magazine, will have a full, working kitchen on display. You can also see Greg Shooner and Mary Spellmire-Shooner, two renowned artists who craft American Redware Pottery.

Every fall, Waynesville becomes the center of German-inspired cuisine in the Midwest during the Ohio Sauerkraut Festival. Scores of people flock to this charming community to taste the finest Ruebens, Kraut Dogs and Cabbage Rolls. Those with daring palates will enjoy crazy sauerkraut creations such as pizza, donuts, fudge and sundaes. With your favorite sauerkraut dish in hand, stroll the festival streets browsing a wide selection of arts and crafts. With more than 450 artisans from across the U.S. and Hawaii, this is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the country.
