The Western & Southern Open played at the Lindner Family Tennis Center just north of Cincinnati is the oldest U.S. professional tennis tournament still played in its original city. The Western & Southern Open is one of only 5 events in the world where fans can see the very best men's and women's tennis players competing simultaneously.
Imagine seeing a day of highly energized, competitive matches featuring Andy Roddick, Rafeal Nadal and Venus Williams in the afternoon then watching Roger Federer and Serena Williams that night!
The Western & Southern Open takes many hours of work and service to be so successful! It is no easy task, but thanks to the hundreds of volunteers and interns who join the team each year, it continues to grow as one of the world's premier tennis events! The hours of volunteer service are not only helping the tournament, but also help raise money for local charities.
Volunteer opportunities range from ticket office workers and ushers to scorers and transportation drivers.
Event volunteers also receive great benefits for their hard work including tournament clothing from Adidas, souvenier pin, on-court recognition and more.
For more information on all the various volunteer opportunities, please contact Mary Conner, Volunteer Coordinator, at 513-665-3822 or mconner@cincytennis.com.
