Caesar Creek exists as a cooperative management effort among the Corps of Engineers and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
Through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Individual Volunteers can sign up to do a variety of duties such as helping park staff with programs, special events, trail maintenance, litter control, and monitoring blue bird boxes to name a few.
Children aged 5 to 12 years can sign up as Junior Volunteers to work alongside their parents or guardians, while young people aged 13 to 17 can sign up as Green Teens.
The Corps of Engineers also offer many volunteer opportunities in recreation and natural resources management. Volunteers can serve as park and campground hosts, staff visitor centers, conduct programs, clean shorelines, improve fish and wildlife habitat, maintain park trails and facilities and more.
A wide variety of duties can be assigned to meet an individual's skills; parks will work with the volunteer on a flexible schedule.
Individuals interested in volunteering through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources should contact the state park office directly at 513-897-3055.
Individuals interested in volunteering at Casear Creek Lake through the Corps of Engineers should call the lake directly at 513-897-1050.

The trail is an integral component of the Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail (a multi-use trail used primarily by cyclists but which also accommodates runners, walkers, horse riders and roller bladers).
The Friends Group assists with the planning, maintenance, improvement, safety, parking, park access, and promotion of The Little Miami State Park.
Trail maintenance and repair projects are ongoing, and there are many opportunities to assist the Friends group in eliminating overgrowth of honeysuckle and other weeds. The group also has a backlog of improvement projects - building fences, benches and kiosks - which may be attractive as one-time projects which make an immediate and permanent improvement in the trail.
Two-hour trail maintenance work sessions are scheduled during most weeks. They are listed on the group's website when they are scheduled.
All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. Please see Ohio State Parks official Volunteer Handbook for a complete set of rules and guidelines.
To volunteer along the Little Miami State Park contact Adopt-a-Trail Coordinator Aaron Rourke at adopt-a-trail@flmsp.org or by phone: 937-654-9493.
