Ohio's Largest Playground is rich with natural beauty and the many miles of Warren County bike trails best illustrate our rolling hills, luscious trees and diverse wildlife.

Little Miami Scenic Bike Trail

The Little Miami Scenic Trail winds along the Little Miami River for a stretch of 76 miles, moving through woodlands, countryside and towns alike. The trail passes through Yellow Springs, Xenia and Waynesville, before reaching downtown Milford. Bike part of the trail, or saddle up for the entire journey. Whatever you decide, there's plenty to do along the way.

Along The Trail

There are numerous dining, lodging and rental options along the trail.  Here is a sample of some of the key points of interest along the trail.

Corwin Peddler

A perfect stop for cyclists peddling along the trail, with services ranging from bike rental to homemade desserts and healthy eats. If you're coming from the south along the trail, Corwin is a great place to stop before completing the last section of the journey.

A great place to start your ride, this shop has everything to get you going on the Little Miami trail. From tandems to cruisers, recumbents to road bikes and kids bikes to child trailers. Lebanon Countryside Bike Trail

From the Little Miami Scenic Trail, Lebanon is only 8.2 miles away, by means of the newly completed Countryside Trail. Pass through the "Middletown Junction," cross over Tuttle Creek and cycle through Harmon Park, all before entering downtown Lebanon, chock full of shops, restaurant and diversions - a perfect place to break after the ride.

Great Miami River Recreation Trail

Great Miami River Recreation Trail is another stunning Warren County bike trail. It offers miles of safe, paved trail with beautiful views of the river and historic markers, shops, restaurants and lodging in several quaint and charming communities including Franklin and Middletown. Even the experienced rider will enjoy all the trail has to offer.

The city of Franklin calls itself the "City of Murals" and once you see these spectacular creations for yourself, you will understand the city's pride in its art. A beautiful afternoon trip through Franklin"s downtown district quickly turns into a fascinating look back into the city's history. The murals depict everything from a 19th century park scene to the city"s once proud Great Miami Suspension Bridge.

Log Post Office

Commissioned by Thomas Jefferson, the original log structure housed the first post office in the area. Sits along the the bike path with drinking fountain and benches.
