Thrills, Water Parks & Family Fun

Warren County is home to some of the region’s biggest attractions, and many of them are designed with accessibility in mind. Kings Island, one of the country’s most iconic amusement parks, offers a disability access program, helpful signage at each ride, and wheelchair-friendly features across the park. Family-friendly rides like Snoopy’s Soap Box Racers even include accessible ride cars to support easier transfers. Over at Soak City Water Park, guests can cool off in zero-depth entry pools or use water chairs available on site.

Just down the road, Great Wolf Lodge offers year-round fun with an indoor water park, arcade, mini-golf, and spacious accessible suites. The resort includes features like water chairs, chair lifts for access to hot tubs and the lazy river, roll-in showers, and roll-under sinks, making it a great option for families looking for comfort and convenience all in one spot.

The Little Miami Scenic Trail is fully paved, perfect for exploring

Outdoor Escapes

Warren County’s natural beauty is easy to explore, even if you use a wheelchair. The Little Miami Scenic Trail, one of the longest paved trails in the region, stretches through the heart of the county. With its smooth surface, gentle grades, and scenic river views, it's a great spot for a leisurely roll or a longer day outdoors. The trail also offers plenty of shaded areas and trail-side restaurants, breweries and ice cream shops to stop for a snack or break.

Fort Ancient Earthworks & Nature Preserve offers a different kind of outdoor experience, blending history with nature. Many of the ancient Hopewell-era earthworks can be seen from a low-traffic, low-speed paved road that winds through the site, ideal for exploring from your car or wheelchair. The museum onsite is also fully accessible and provides a fascinating look at more than 15,000 years of Ohio history.

No matter how you like to travel, Warren County makes it easy to explore, unwind, and have fun—without worrying about accessibility. From thrilling attractions and scenic outdoor trails to welcoming hotels and rich cultural sites, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy.
