August is National Family Fun Month, and there’s no better place to make lasting memories with the ones you love than right here in Ohio's Largest Playground. With summer winding down and school just around the corner, now is the perfect chance to pack in a few more adventures. While there’s no wrong way to play here in Warren County, we’ve picked just a few of our top family-friendly spots to visit this month before summer is gone! So grab the kids and get ready for a month full of laughter, exploration, and unforgettable fun!
Kings Island & Soak City
Kings Island offers thrills, laughs, and endless excitement for families of all ages. Take the kiddos over to Planet Snoopy, Kings Island’s award-winning kids’ area, while the older kids ride the iconic jaw-dropping coasters the park is known for. When it’s time to cool off, take the train over to Soak City Water Park (included with admission). Soak City offers fun ways for everyone to cool off from the hot summer sun. The older kids will enjoy the thrilling watersides and wave pools while the little ones will splash in the lagoons and splashpads around the park.
