Slicing Up the Warren County Pizza Scene

Blog by Stacha Yundt

Pizza may just be the perfect food. It’s an ideal and easy carryout or dine-in meal. It’s shareable, customizable, and each and every spot has its own unique spin.

Home to more than a dozen locally beloved pizza peddlers, Warren County boasts more than enough great pie to crush even the biggest of pizza cravings.

Where should you start on your pizza search, though?

Well, while there's certainly no wrong place to grab a slice here in Ohio's Largest Playground, these five dough-tossin', sauce-spoonin' favorites were voted among our area's elite in this year's Best of Warren County Awards...

Catch-A-Fire Pizza | Lebanon, Ohio

Catch-A-Fire Pizza (Lebanon, Ohio)
Since opening in Lebanon in 2022, Catch-a-Fire Pizza has quickly become a local favorite in Warren County. Catch-a-Fire is perhaps best known for their dedication to the art of wood-fired cooking, and guests can watch as skilled pizzaioli craft perfect pies in the restaurant’s wood-fired oven. Also featuring a tap room, an indoor and outdoor bar, and a spacious patio, a meal at Catch-a-Fire will heat up your Warren County visit in all the best ways.

Pisanello’s Pizza (Franklin, Ohio)
Franklin is known as the city of murals, but art isn’t the only sight to see when you visit this northern Warren County town. Watch delicious dough fly through the air at Pisanello’s, a beloved, longstanding pizza shop right in the heart of Franklin's historic downtown area.

Roscoe’s Pizza (Corwin, Ohio)
In a world that often cautions quality over quantity, one pizza shop has dared to ask: why not both? Meet Roscoe’s Pizza in Corwin, home of 100 specialty pizzas. That’s right — 1-0-0. Launched in 2020, this local favorite has taken Warren County by storm. While you may not be able to sample everything they have to offer (or, maybe you can - no judgment here), you’re sure to find your perfect pizza match.

Two Cities Pizza Co. | Mason, Ohio

Two Cities Pizza Co. (Mason, Ohio)
Did you know you can take a spin around New York City and Chicago while visiting Ohio’s Largest Playground? At least – your taste buds can. Two Cities Pizza Co. takes two of the country’s most iconic pizza styles and serves them up in the Southwest Ohio city of Mason. As you sink your teeth into your choice of Chicago and New York style pizzas, you’ll also enjoy the lengths to which the Two Cities team has gone to pay tribute to their patron cities – right down to the restrooms (winners of the Cintas 2021 Best Restrooms in America award).

Villaggio’s Italian Eatery (Lebanon, Ohio)
Nestled in the heart of historic downtown Lebanon, Villaggio’s Italian Eatery is another Warren County favorite that invites you to enjoy your meal from start to finish, and they mean that literally. Take a look through their viewing window to see your meal prepared before settling down in this comfortable, family-friendly restaurant. Although Villaggio’s is well loved for their pizza recipe, their menu offers a wide range of Italian-inspired foods sure to satisfy even the pickiest of foodies.

Your next favorite slice might just be waiting for you in Ohio’s Largest Playground, so there’s really just one question left to ask: what toppings would you like on that?
