Ultimate Holiday Events Guide to Warren County

The holiday season is just around the corner and there are snow many ways to celebrate in Warren County! We’ve made our list (and checked it twice!): here’s your ultimate guide to holiday events happening this season in Ohio’s Largest Playground!

Local Festivals

Fresh hot chocolate, seasonal treats, pictures with Santa and unique holiday shopping — everything you could want in a small town celebration! Find all of this and more at these holiday events.

Christmas in Springboro (Nov. 21 – Nov. 23) — Featuring more than 70 craft vendors, dozens of food vendors, a 5k run/walk, and Christmas parade, this annual festival is the largest 3-day holiday event in the tri-state area.

Waynesville’s Christmas in the Village (Dec. 5 – Dec. 7) — Kick off your holiday season with a heaping dose of small town charm in downtown Waynesville. Take advantage of festive photo ops, interact with strolling characters, enjoy fresh cookies and cocoa, and sleigh your shopping list as you browse local vendors and shops.

36th Annual Lebanon Horse Drawn Carriage Parade and Festival (Dec. 6) — One of the region’s most anticipated and unique holiday events, this festival’s mane event features dozens of beautiful, horse drawn carriages decked out in full festive fashion. Special guests of past parades include a certain snow queen, the Grinch, the Queen from the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and of course jolly Saint Nick himself. There are two chances to catch the parade: an afternoon event at 1pm and the candlelight parade at 7pm when the carriages put on a lightshow. In between parades, enjoy browsing through craft and food vendors and take a bite out of your holiday lists at any of Lebanon’s popular shops.

Holiday Magic at Major Attractions

Warren County’s biggest destinations go all out for the holidays — transforming into glowing wonderlands, snowy escapes, and festive villages that make the season unforgettable. From millions of lights to immersive themed fun, here’s where the holiday spirit shines brightest at the region’s top attractions.

The Christmas Ranch (Opens Nov. 21 for 2025 season) — No one does holiday lights quite like the Christmas Ranch in Morrow. Featuring more than one million lights synchronized to holiday music, this unique holiday attraction has made appearances on HGTV and Good Morning America. Enjoy light displays both indoors and outside as you stroll the grounds, find plenty of holiday-themed gifts and souvenirs, enjoy hot food and drink, and even take a ride on their holiday train.

SnowLand at Great Wolf Lodge (Nov. 24 – Jan. 4) — In Ohio’s Largest Playground, your holiday season can be splashy, snowy, or both! Just head over to Great Wolf Lodge for the best of both worlds. In addition to their massive indoor waterpark, during the holiday season the lodge is transformed into a veritable winter wonderland filled with special events, holiday crafts, visits with Santa and more.

WinterFest at Kings Island (Open select nights Nov. 28 – Dec. 31) — During the holidays Kings Island becomes an enchanting wonderland, featuring more than seven million lights! The iconic Eiffel Tower transforms into a stunning 4314-foot tall Christmas tree, guests can ice skate across the Royal Fountain, and live entertainment throughout the park adds just the right amount of holiday magic to the experience. Interact with costumed characters, catch the WinterFest Wonderland Parade, enjoy delicious seasonal treats and more!

Yuletide Village at Renaissance Park (Fridays and Saturdays Nov. 28 – Dec. 20) — Renaissance Park, home of the Ohio Renaissance Festival, invites you to one of the most unique holiday events on the calendar. Find unique gifts at the Marketplace, indulge in rich, seasonal flavors, stroll the grounds of Renaissance Park to take in the lights, and even visit with the park’s Woodland Santa (or take your chances with Krampus!).

Only-in-Warren Holiday Experiences

Looking for something a little different this season? These festive favorites bring holiday cheer with a creative twist — from train rides with Santa to cocktail strolls and cozy farm celebrations. Each one offers a one-of-a-kind way to make lasting holiday memories.

The North Pole Express with LM&M Railroad (Select Days Nov. 21 – Dec. 23) — Experience the joy of the holidays on the rails with the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad! The LM&M’s most popular event, guests will enjoy a scenic ride while visiting with Santa and his elves in the festively decorated railway cars. Children will receive a souvenir bell and a holiday cookie to enjoy, and hot chocolate can be purchased at the station and brought on board for your ride!

Ho Ho Hayrides at Hidden Valley Orchards (Nov. 28 – Nov. 30) — Kick off your holiday season with festive hayrides at one of Warren County’s most popular family-friendly farms! Enjoy seasonal treats, holiday fun, and unique shopping in the market barn.

Santa Stroll (Nov. 29) — Add a special spin to your Small Business Saturday this year with Mason’s Santa Stroll! Join Santa in Downtown Mason as he cruises the Mason Mile visiting local businesses on one of the biggest shopping days of the year!

Holiday Spirits Christmas Cocktail Stroll (Dec. 6) — Find the perfect gift for everyone on your list at the Morrow Arts Center while enjoying festive cocktails during this unique event! It’s sure to be a perfect night filled with holiday cheer, live music and plenty of festive flavors.
