One of the most recognizable symbols of World War II will once again report for duty exactly 75 years after its crew finished their last mission in the war against Nazi Germany on May 17, 1943. Plans call for the aircraft to be placed on permanent public display in the WWII Gallery of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force on May 17, 2018.

Join Fort Ancient in welcoming the first day of summer through this exciting program of observing the sunrise as the Ancient peoples did 2,000 years ago. Watch the sun rise between two walls of earth when aligning yourself between the earthen wall and a stone covered mound. Guests will also learn the importance of Fort Ancient to those who built it between 100BC and AD 500.

Free and Open to the Public. Registration opens at 8:00 am, fishing begins at 9:00 am. Meet at the Youth Fishing Pond near the Caesar Creek State Park Marina. Instructors are on hand to help you learn the ins and outs of this lifelong hobby. Equipment and bait are provided while supplies last.

Mark your calendars for the annual Heritage Festival and Parade taking place on Saturday, September 15 at the Mason Municipal Center Campus! The event will feature a parade, kids’ activities, carnival games, crafts, vendors, music entertainment and more! The event will begin at 10 a.m. with the annual parade followed by activities and entertainment until 4 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public and is sure to include fun for all ages!

Family traditions are enjoyed by many at Bonnybrook Farms, a beautiful and historic 370 acre working farm located in rural Warren County.

Climb aboard the farm wagon for a family friendly Adventure Wagon Ride. Fun on the Farm activities include a “Pick your Own” Pumpkin Patch; Archery; Clodhopper Golf; Crazed Corn Maze; Pony Rides; Giant Slingshots; Horse Shoe Hill with 80’ Underground Slide; Farm Yard Play Area; Birthday Parties; Farm Animals to Pet and Brush and Fish to Feed. The Great Pumpkin 5K Trail Run/Walk and Pumpkin Chuckin' on Halloween weekend.

Experience the solstice as ancient people may have done during this ceremonial moment several thousand years ago.
