Independence Day: A Community Celebration
Celebrate Independence Day with us on Saturday, July 4th as our community comes together for a full day of patriotic fun, family activities, and fireworks.
This year’s theme, “A Community Celebration: United for 250” highlights a special milestone as we join with Franklin Township and the City of Carlisle to commemorate America 250. Together, our three communities are uniting to honor our shared history and celebrate the spirit of independence.
The day begins with a parade at 10:00 AM, showcasing local organizations, community groups, and patriotic pride. The parade will step off on Park Ave, cross the Lion's Bridge, turn right onto Main Street, left onto Sixth Street, and end at Community Park. Those who wish to participate in the parade can apply HERE.
In the evening, the celebration continues with a festival at Community Park beginning at 5:00 PM, featuring food trucks, rides, inflatables, and live entertainment from two bands. The night concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00 PM, lighting up the sky in a grand finale worthy of this historic 250th celebration.
Join us for a day filled with community spirit, entertainment, and celebration as we stand united for 250 years of American independence.
