Warren County CVB Honored with Awards at State Tourism Conference

Warren County, Ohio (September 28, 2018) – The Warren County Convention & Visitors received five awards for its destination marketing efforts this week at the Ohio Travel Association’s (OTA) 2018 Ohio Conference on Travel.

The WCCVB won first place honors for its Ohio’s Largest Playground Monthly E-Newsletter and 2017 Annual Report and a second place “Citation of Excellence” for its Warren County Sports Park at Union Village promotional video. It was also awarded two  “Certificates of Achievement” for its blog and 2018 print advertisements.

Sponsored by Ohio Magazine, the OTA’s RUBY Awards (Recognizing Uncommon Brilliance Yearly), serve to highlight outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations achievements made by its member organizations.

This year’s RUBY Awards included 17 different categories subdivided into three budget levels. Warren County competed in the highest budget level alongside such CVB’s as Cincinnati and Cleveland.

“Our team in Warren County works tirelessly day in and day out to develop creative, impactful ways of building and promoting the Ohio’s Largest Playground brand,” said Phillip S. Smith, President & CEO of the WCCVB. “It’s always wonderful to have those efforts recognized - especially by a group as esteemed as the OTA.”
