A picturesque vineyard in Morrow, Ohio, Valley Vineyards Winery & Brewery offers visitors a low-key, but incredibly enjoyable autumn outing. Sample their full range of award-winning wines and micro-brews, or visit for a weekend evening cookout, where you’ll grill your choice of delicious meats to enjoy with a delicious spread of side dishes, desserts and locally produced adult beverages. For a truly unique sight-seeing experience, climb aboard the LM&M Railroad for a nostalgic autumn train ride. Take in the vibrant fall colors of Lebanon, Mason and Monroe, and learn about the history of old-style steam engines from experienced train conductors. Their seasonal Fall Flyer treats guests not only to a ride along the rails, but also to a hay maze and free pumpkin pie. Free pie? Sign me up!
What’s fall without a little frightful fun? Warren County is home to numerous ghostly attractions tailored to kids, adults and everyone in between. Waynesville, Ohio - regarded as one of America’s most haunted cities - and several other cities offer haunted walking tours, while Kings Island’s Halloween Haunt and Great Pumpkin Fest offer both authentically scary and more kid-friendly Halloween fun.
